I am someone who likes to delve into crafting the player’s experience through code. The majority of my work is done through unity where I can design freely in an attempt to bring my ideas to life. Whether it is designing Systems, Character movement, or AI, I am constantly seeking to learn about and adapt new methods into my own coding philosophies so that I can improve upon my work. I’m currently studying as a Master of Arts candidate at Academy of Art University, and I have recently decided my thesis direction. Diving in head first my thesis entails designing a Combat System from scratch. As someone who has always enjoyed the combat aspect of games, I think designing combat is a unique challenge and something that I want to pursue in the future as a designer. Whether it is through scripting or creating interesting levels that test a player’s skill, I want to provide players an enticing experience.
